We are excited to launch our new Document Management Portal as a beta pilot.
This portal is designed to make it easier, faster, and more secure for you to upload documents to CPA4IT. Since this is still in beta, we encourage you to use it, test it, and let us know what works well — and what could be improved. Your feedback will help us fine-tune the portal before the final rollout.
Step 1: Select the Type of Documents You Want to Upload
When you open the portal, you will first be asked to select the type of documents you want to upload.
For example, you may be uploading documents for:
- T2 Corporate Tax Return
- Personal Tax
- Bookkeeping
- HST
- Payroll
- Other CPA4IT services
Please select the option that best matches the documents you are submitting.
Step 2: Enter Your Email Address
Next, you will be asked to enter your email address.
Please enter the same email address that CPA4IT has on file for you. This is usually the same email address where you receive signature requests and important CPA4IT communications.
Important: If you enter a random email address or an email address we do not have in our system, the portal will not allow you to upload documents.
Step 3: Enter the One-Time Password
After entering your email address, you will receive a one-time password, also called an OTP, by email.
Please check your inbox for the code and enter it into the portal.
This step helps keep your documents secure. Think of it like the portal asking, “Are you really you?” Very polite. Very Canadian.
Step 4: Review Your Existing Files or Year Ends
Once your email has been verified, you will see a history of the files, year ends, or services we already have in process or have completed for you.
For example, if you are uploading T2 corporate tax documents, you may see previous corporate year ends that CPA4IT has already completed or is currently working on.
Based on what you see, you can choose one of two options:
Use Existing Login
Choose this option if you are uploading documents for a file or year end that is already in process with CPA4IT.
For example, if we are already working on your 2025 corporate tax return and you need to send us more documents, select the existing year end.
Create New Login
Choose this option if you are uploading documents for a new year end or a new service request.
For example, if your previous corporate year end has already been completed and you are now sending documents for a new year end, select Create New Login.
Step 5: Upload Your Documents
After selecting the correct file or creating a new one, you can upload your documents.
You will be able to:
- Attach your files
- Add a message, if needed
- Click Upload
Please wait until you see the message that says:
Files Uploaded
This confirms that your documents were successfully submitted through the portal.
Step 6: Watch for Your Confirmation Email
After your documents are uploaded, you will receive a confirmation email.
This email will include a list of the files you uploaded, so you have a record of what was submitted.
