- Capital Cost Allowances (CCA):
- Class 10.1 passenger vehicles: Increased to $36,000.
- Class 54 zero-emission passenger vehicles: Increased to $61,000.
- Deductible Leasing Costs: Raised to $950 per month for new leases.
- Tax-Exempt Allowances: Increased limits for business use of personal vehicles:
- Provinces: 68 cents per km for the first 5,000 km and 62 cents per km for each additional km.
- Territories: 72 cents per km for the first 5,000 km and 66 cents per km for each additional km.
- Prescribed Rates for Employee Taxable Benefits:
- General prescribed rate: Increased to 33 cents per km.
- For automobile sales or leasing employees: Increased to 30 cents per km.
Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicles (iZEV) Program:
- Eligible Vehicles:
- Passenger cars (base model MSRP < $55,000) and other vehicle types (base model MSRP < $60,000).
