The Company Key for Ontario Corporations
The Ontario company key is a 9-digit confidential passcode that was introduced on October 19, 2021 to facilitate access to Ontario corporation business records by an authorized representative, such as an accountant, lawyer, CPA. The company key access also allows an authorized agent to complete any filings, updates or changes to your company’s records as necessary.
Accounting firms, law firms or any other individual filing on behalf of a company directly with the Ontario Business Registry will require a company key as well as the one-key account details to complete any registrations or filings.
